These is really very useful device. The uv rays which causes skin cancer are uvb and uva, uvb light have wave length ranges from 280-315 nm and uva wave-length range 315-400 nm.

uvb is most dangerous as compare to uva.
Many people permanently used Sunscreen to block these rays. This thing not suitable for example a little quanity of uvb is neccessary for production of vitamin D in skin.
